Steve Lewis is a best-selling author, avid cave diver, and a professional adventurer.
In his writtings and when teaching technical diving, he puts strong emphasis on mindfulness and focused meditation’s role in risk management.
He has been diving sidemount in caves and open-water for more than 20 years, watching its evolution from quirky to mainstream with bemused interest.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, was elected to the Explorers Club in 2005, and has won several honours including the Sheck Exley International Safety Award.
He is currently V-P Diver Training for RAID International.
